The Melrose Sevens Under 18 Tournament returns on Saturday 23 May 2026, bringing together some of the most exciting young rugby talent from across the UK and beyond.
Introduced in 2025, the Open U18 tournament has quickly become an important part of Sevens weekend, showcasing the next generation of players on the Home of Sevens stage.
The competition will take place across the day, with preliminary matches played on the secondary pitches during the morning and early afternoon. The U18 Final will then be played on the famous Greenyards pitch, alongside the senior finals, in front of thousands of supporters.
For young players, it’s a unique opportunity to experience the atmosphere of Melrose Sevens and compete at the birthplace of the game.
Teams confirmed for the 2026 competition include sides from across Scotland, England and Europe, reflecting the growing reputation of the tournament.
