Media accreditation is now open for the 2026 Melrose Sevens, taking place at the historic Greenyards in Melrose on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 May 2026.

As the birthplace of rugby sevens and one of the most iconic events in the global rugby calendar, Melrose Sevens attracts thousands of spectators each year, alongside teams and supporters from across the UK and beyond.

We welcome applications from journalists, photographers, broadcasters, videographers and content creators who wish to cover the tournament and help share the unique atmosphere of Sevens weekend.

Accredited media will have access to designated media areas around the ground and opportunities to capture the action, the crowd and the wider festival atmosphere that makes Melrose Sevens such a special event.

Applications are open to both traditional media outlets and independent creators, and will be reviewed by the Melrose Sevens media team.
